The Community values a balance of worship, work, and Sabbath time, and we believe in the importance of delving into our creative being. With regular opportunities for creativity, the Sisters engage in painting, sculpting, poetry reading and writing, paper-making, baking, and other artistic expressions.
During Creativity Days in December 2009 and January 2010, Sisters wove scarves on our 4-foot loom, beaded belts, painted gourds, tanned deer hides, crocheted quilts, and created drawings and paintings. Our creations are treasured embodiments of our meditations on the Great Creation, on life and death, and beauty.
