St. Hilda's House provides overnight accommodations for inidividuals and groups who seek rest, prayer and quiet through the rhythms
of monastic life. Guests are invited to join the Sisters at most mealtimes and for our chapel services. Individual self-directed retreats
may also be made at the convent. All overnight accommodations require prior arrangement; first-time guests will be asked to provide
references in writing prior to making their reservations.
Monday is the Sisters' Sabbath; we do not accept guest arrivals (original
arrival day only) at any time on Mondays. Guests who are already in the house on a Sunday and wish to stay over to (or through) a
Monday may do so with the understanding that no guest meals are served on Mondays.
Please arrange travel plans so that you arrive
at the convent before 8:00 PM. We do need to know your approximate arrival time for our scheduling purposes. We also need to know
if you wish to join the Sisters for the evening meal on your arrival day. Once you are here, you may sign up for any other meals you
will be sharing with us.
Why not join us periodically for a private day of meditation as your schedule allows? Come celebrate the Great Feasts of Christmas and Easter, join the Community for prayer and reflection during Holy Week, or simply spend some quiet time in our chapel.
All room reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $25 per person per night. Deposits may be made over the telephone by using your VISA or Mastercard, or you may mail in your deposit by sending a check immediately upon making your reservation. The balance of your donation may be made any time during your stay by check, cash or credit card. An envelope with instructions for payment can be found in the welcome packet in each guest room.
